TPC 12 Carousel Tissue Processor

The TPC 12 Carousel Tissue Processor is an economic solution for reliable specimen processing for histological laboratories with manageable throughput. The round device with its elegant design comes with a transport basket made of stainless steel. It fits up to 120 standard-sized embedding cassettes (TPC 12 Uno). By adding a second basket per run (TPC 12 Duo), the amount of processed cassettes can be doubled.

Up to 20 protocols can be set, with relevant factors, such as incubation time, drain time, start and end time and paraffin temperature to be adjusted as required. All settings are made via control panel with LCD display. Every protocol can be protected against unintended changes with a password. By adding pauses for draining to the protocol, carry-over of reagents is reduced to a minimum. Agitation is included as standard. In case of power failure, an integrated emergency battery is activated to prevent damages.

The TPC 12 can be connected to an exhaust system (optional for TPC 12 Uno, included with TPC 12 Duo). A transparent safety hood protects the tissue samples and liquids against dust while reducing the output of intense odors, and allows full insight at any time of the process (optional for TPC 12 Uno, included with TPC 12 Duo).

To boost the tissue infiltration, the TPC 12 Duo comes with the additional paraffin vacuum feature. It helps to improve the further processing of the samples.
