The eCep is a handy tool for use in the  tissue embedding process. It consists of a control unit and electrically heated forceps. The targeted electronic heating of the forceps tip keeps the handle pleasantly cool.

When in use, the forceps reach a temperature of between 65 °C and 68 °C. The concentrated warmth prevents damage to the tissue. It is also warm enough to melt the paraffin it comes in contact with, making it easy to adjust the tissue within the embedding mold with no paraffin sticking to the tip.

Forceps and control unit are available as a set or seperately as addition to existing devices. Every control unit comes with two connectors, making it easy to be shared between two users at a time. The forceps, available in different tip sizes, can also be connected to the TES 99 Dispenser Unit.

The Cool Unit MKF 20 is designed for seamless integration into the work bench. With it, the work place becomes a more optimized work station, supporting laboratories with frequent cooling processes.

With its surface made of stainless steel, the MKF 20 adapts to the quality standards of the modern laboratory. Depending on the individual demands, the Cooling Unit can be installed either longitudinal or lateral.

The MKF 20 cools down to -10 °C, keeping the temperature steady permanently to ensure a consistent cooling procedure throughout the everyday workflow. By integrating seamlessly into the work bench, the MKF 20 does not take away any space and offers an additional storage area when it is not in use.
